The Hitch app driver side is designed to offer you rides on your schedule. We send you requests in your app for you to select when you are ready to drive.

Set up your Earnings Tab

This is how you’ll get paid, and you must do this before your first Hitch drive.

1. To learn more on how to do so, please click → How to set up earnings
2. Once you’ve done this, you can move on to viewing availability.

View available rides

Unlike traditional rideshare apps, all of our rides are pre-scheduled. Rides become available throughout the day, so you’ll want to check the app frequently.

1. Tap the “Drive” tab on your app menu screen. This can be found on the bottom tab bar.
2. Your availability is always on. Your home city sets notifications - but you can browse and select open rides from any city.
3. View ride requests that are available.
4. Select the ride you want and choose from your return options.

Picking up and dropping off passengers

When it’s time to complete the ride in the app, go to your ‘Accepted Trips’ tab. Click on the active ride and complete your ride in-app.

Swipe up on the ‘drawer’ to view pick-up and drop-off options for each customer.

Step 2

Next to each rider’s name, tap the circle to confirm pickup and select the Pick up button. Then confirm drop-off information.

Step 3

You’ll follow the same instructions in Step 2 when dropping off your rider(s).
